The winter season of the ART Racing Team Cup took again place in MĂĽnsingen for the second heat. The track is a small, very technical circuit with high grip level. The most important thing is to make absolutely no mistake.
For the second race I had to fine tune my already good working setup on the XRAY X12 2015 racing car. The winter season is fully ongoing and the grip level was much higher than in the first race of the year. With the graphite front suspension arms the car was easier to drive on the track. Making the car a little bit wider to work against the traction roll problem was also a good decision.
With these changes I was able to drive the fastest qualifying time of the day. An unlucky mistake in this heat was the reason why I did not set the 59 Laps. Stefan WĂĽthrich was on position 2 and Manfred Ebener in position 3 after the qualifying.
The finals heats were really close. Local hero Stefan Wüthrich was very fast in the first A Final. I tried a new kind of tires which worked very well for the first laps. After 1 Minute I got in trouble because the tires where not perfectly glued. It was impossible to hold the position for the next 7 Minutes and Stefan Wüthrich passed by to finish first, followed by myself and Michael Schäfer.
In the second A- Main I used another set of tires, and again a very close fight between me and Stefan Wüthrich. One time he was in front, another time it was me in the lead. After a lucky situation when passing a slower car, I was able to get back in front by tacking the closer line. Stefan lost a little bit of time and I was able to win the second final, followed by Stefan Wüthrich and Michael Schäfer.
I had a perfect start in heat number three. Stefan WĂĽthrichâ™s car touched sideways with the car of Manfred Ebener in one of the first corners. Stefanâ™s car cracked and I was able to win the third Final without pressure. My team mate Michael Schäfer finished second in this heat followed by Manfred Ebener.

Race Report by Marc Heim
The ART Racing Track is my home track. I allready had a good setup, because I make my trainings on this track. I did not change a lot of things on my T4. I changed the front springs from 2.6 to 2.5 and the car was easy to drive. I also put the graphite steering plate set onto my car because I wanted to test how the car behaves with this option part. But with a lot of grip, the pitch signal is getting very aggressive. So I changed it back.
I am looking forward to the next race. I will use harder gear diff on my car. We will see us at the track!
